Each province has its own transport network with ferry services and our network spans out within the Atolls- Meemu, Faafu, and Dhaalu which fall under the Central or medhu province of Maldives.

Tourism is the biggest contributor for Maldives’ economy accounting for 28% of the country’s GDP while Fishing is the second leading sector of our economy. Over 90% of the government tax revenue is from import duties and tourism-related taxes. New implementations introduced in January 2011 includes a new Goods and Services Tax on Tourism (GST), and a new Business Profit Tax to be introduced during the year which is expected to increase the government’s revenue.
